Looking for a Social Media company in Rugby<\/a>?\u00a0<\/span><\/span>A busy month with a number of events here for Whilton Locks Garden Village for which we produce the designs and subsequently promote. The events continue to prove popular particularly with new\u00a0customers, who have never been to the site before, visiting for the first time. With Mothers\u2019s Day, Themed Afternoon Tea\u2019s and a Fifteenth Anniversary Celebration due in March, next month is\u00a0looking busy too!

15th Anniversary Celebration\u00a0Social Media Promotion:<\/strong>
\nAs we celebrate our birthday, this forthcoming weekend, we look back to 2004.
\nLet\u2019s start with an all-time classic: March 2nd 2004 and Peter Andre – Mysterious Girl was number one. That reminds me\u2026 I stop and stare at you, walking on the\u00a0shore, I try to concentrate, my mind wants to explore\u2026 (ahem).
\nHow do we beat that? With our opening of course – strongman Geoff Capes cut the ribbon and officially opened\u00a0Whilton Locks Garden Village.
\nWhat else happened in 2004?<\/strong>
\nFASTER, HIGHER, STRONGER:<\/strong> 2004 saw the Olympics in Greece. A total of 10,625 athletes from 201 countries participated in 301 sporting and athletic events.\u00a0These were the first Games in which record-breaking U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps won his first (6) gold medals and set the record for most medals won at a single\u00a0Games with 8 in total.
\nNEW:<\/strong> Facebook is launched as a social networking site only open to students from Harvard in February by Mark Zuckerberg with his college roommates and fellow\u00a0students Eduardo Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes. It is expanded first to other colleges in the Boston area and other Ivy League Colleges.
\nNEW TOO:<\/strong> The silicone wristband first became popular in 2004 with the Livestrong yellow band which was set up by American cyclist Lance Armstrong.
\nSHOCK:<\/strong> Barbie and Ken broke up in 2004! Barbie dated a guy named Blaine for a couple of years, then got back with Ken in 2006. (Phew!)<\/em>
\nSPEEDY:<\/strong> Britney Spears married high school friend Jason Alexander for nearly an entire weekend. (55 hours).
\nGET THE POPCORN:<\/strong> Popular films of the year included: Shrek 2, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Meet the Fockers and Ocean’s Twelve
\nDROP EVERYTHING:<\/strong> “Flash Mob” was added to the Concise Oxford English Dictionary, where it noted it as an \u201cunusual and pointless act\u201d.<\/p>\n
