The annual festive film produced by Nick Price Creatives for Steam Traction World has broken all records for the Daventry-based engineering firm. The film designed, developed and marketed by the Rugby design company Nick Price Creatives proved a huge hit with steam enthusiasts hitting new heights and shattering all previous records set by the annual advert.
Firstly, the Youtube video reached over 33,000 views. It achieved over 750 thumbs up and just one thumbs down! Over on Facebook the figures were huge too. Over 25,000 people saw the original launch post for the film with over 12,000 unique visitors watching the whole advert/film from start to finish.
To put into context the previous years films averaged around 8,000 views on Youtube with the old record being held by Bear and the Hare, Steam Traction World’s parody to the John Lewis advert back in 2013, which had been watched 9,107 times.
Build a Burrell proved a hit with extra exposure for Steam Traction World with new social media followers up by 5% – but the perfect result from the Christmas promotion was new orders in January directly from the film. Marketing at it’s finest.
Special thanks for Paul at Wild for the vocals.
