It was frustrating. Whilton Locks has been stuck just below 10,000 likes on their Facebook page for a while. So we thought we’d do something about it.
The number is fluid – in that some people drop off, unlike or just go elsewhere with Facebook accounts so the figure, of company business page likes, doesn’t continually build. The figure was consistently c9,800 – so we just needed that final push.
So we ran an organic Facebook campaign to get over the line. There were 9,816 on the day of the campaign launch and 10,097 after 5 days. A net gain of 218 likes.
