Phew, that’s pretty fast.
With the Corona Virus forcing retailers to close, many looked to offer more goods online. Whilton Locks Garden Village had an established website which Nick Price Creatives transformed within two weeks to a secure, fully ecommerce online shop with over 1,000 products.
The company offered contactless delivery and we developed the website, with zero downtime, to capitalise on the demand for deliverable pet foods and garden products to customers locked down. As we worked on the site we simultaneously marketed it too – the shop was open from day one with customers directed to phone lines initially whilst product was being added, to a fully online facility, relieving the busy phone lines as online buying became possible. With a live website we did have to react and make several changes to the wording, imagery and functionality of the site to adapt to the latest government guidelines and restrictions, adding to the er… ‘fun’ of the project.
Over 1,800 orders had been placed within the first 20 days as we continue to promote the service which has seen a terrific, positive response from customers.
